Ramadan Is Just Around The Corner!

Assalamu Alaikum :-)

Are you guys ready for Ramadan? I certainly am! I kept fast yesterday (14th of Sha'baan) and I'm fasting today as well (15th of Sha'baan). It was my first fast in a long time. Sunrise was at 4:48 am and sunset was at 8:16 pm. I'm happy to say I didn't feel the least bit tired, Alhamdulillah. Yay! Just waiting for the morning prayers now! Insh'Allah this Ramadan I will spend more time doing Ibadah. I have been reading up on Ramadan and Prayers and I came across some great articles. I will share them soon, insh'Allah. I came across the following on a great website. Excellent reminder for myself and my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters.

The Virtues of Fasting
Your fasts will intercede for you on the day of Judgement

The Prophet Muhammad (s) said: Fasting will intercede for a person on the Day of Judgement, and will say, "O Lord, I prevented him from his food and physical desires during the day, so let me intercede for him." [Hadith Ahmad, 2/174. Al‐Haythami classed its isnaad as hasan]
Allah will forgive you your sins
The Prophet Muhammad (s) said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan out of Iman (faith) and seeking Allah’s reward then his past and future sins are forgiven." [Hadith Ahmad. Declared Hasan by adh‐Dhahabi, as mentioned in al‐Mughni (5876)] and the Prophet (s) said: "Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan, obeying all of its limitations and guarding himself against what is forbidden, has in fact atoned for any sins he committed before it." [Hadith Ahmad and alBaihaqi related this with a good chain.]
It is a protection form the Hellfire
The Prophet Muhammad (s) said: Whoever fasts one day for the sake of Allaah, Allaah will remove his face seventy years’ distance from the Fire. [Hadith Muslim]
The reward of doing deeds in Ramadan are tremendous, and are multiplied more than outside of Ramadan, so get busy!
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet Muhammad (s) said: Allah says about the fasting person: 'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times.’ [Hadith Bukhari]
The Prophet Muhammad (s) said: Every deed of the human being is for himself and its reward is multiplied for him from ten to seven hundred times. Allah says: ‘Except for fasting, for truly it is for Me and I alone will reward it, for verily he abandoned his desires, his food, and his drink for my sake.’ [Hadith Bukhari and Muslim]

Innal‐Hamdu lillah was‐Salaatu was‐Salaam `alaa Rasoolillah
All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His Aid and ask for His Forgiveness. We seek Refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and from the evil of our actions. Whomsoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whomsoever Allah misguides none can guide. I testify that none has the right to be worshiped except Allah SWT having no partners, and I testify that Muhammad (s) is His Servant and Messenger.
Wassalam :-)

YeeeAAAAAHHH!

Assalamua Alaikom Warahmatullah Wa barakatuhu :).

It feels really odd to be back here! I'm feelin' nostalgic...I miss you girls :'(. Hope ya'll are in the best state of health and iman, Insha'Allah :).

So...I really don't know what to say; I thought I did lol...

Well, I'd just like to say that: Some people just should not breathe. No not because I hate them or because they should die, no no!! But because they forgot to practice oral hygiene this morning! BARF!! Yo, so morning breath isn't nice at all...I mean, I can understand the fumes from something that you ate; heck, I can even tolerate garlic. But morning breath smells like a rat that has bled to death. No less. Or even I get the hint of a dog that has defecated in your mouth. YUMMY!

Haha, I'm really not this rude, usually, but I don't like stinky things.

Oh, my sis just informed me that I smell like a wilted flower...Potpourri! And to think she wanted to insult me  :P. I guess it's too early in the morning for ace insults. Haha...

I promise, next time, I'll talk about something more profound, Insha'Allah :).

May Allah (swt) allow us to die among the mo'mineen (believers) in a high state of iman pleasing to Him, save us from the torment of the grave, and make easy for us the reckoning on the Day of Judgement, and grant us a place in Jannat ul Firdaws! AMEEN!

I love you all for the sake of Allah (swt) :'( (happy tears).

Wa Salam :).

P.S. Party Like a Rock Star...A Halal Rock Star, nahmean? :P...yeeeeeeAAAAAHHHH!!!

As'salaam Wa'alikum warahmatullah Dear Sisters,

i hope you all are in the best of health and spirits.

Alhumduillah life is alright for me right now, but ti's going slow which i don't like. IT's so nice to be in a school so i go on a set pattern every day. So much harder when you have to make that pattern yourself with no actual authority over you. Yes, so i'm doing my studies from home, and i miss having a teacher infront of me, Khair alhumduillah.
So, to preoccupy myself in between in classes and what not, i've got some books which i read...i found :ashrafs blessings of marriage" to be an excellent book. It has everything pre-marriage to post-marriage ( up until in-laws and children raising). Every brother and sister should read into this before they get married. It tells you of your haquq and your to-be spouse haquq, these are things we should know. INsh'Allah working by the shariah's laws everything will work out in married life.

Right, enough about that marriage stuff, Finally it's warm weather here ( up north) just last week the last patches of ice that was frozen on the ground has melted away. :sigh:i can't wati to see the first spring blossoms of this year. I've missed them, winter has gone on too long for me :(

it's been going since august up until last week, the second week of march. Alhumduillah though, as usual some good from such a long wait. A test i believe, now i can appreciate the life that allah brings forth every spring with more enthusiasm. and remember moer often to praise him for it.

i hope you all are doing well in your lives and where ever fate takes you. i pray your roads are easy and successful and you always find it in your hearts to remember the rest of us in your dua's. To be blessed with Allah's love and the love of those whom Allah loves. And the companionship of those whom are dear to Allah. For steadfastness on the straight path Always and for guidance and mercy from Allah always and the light of knowledge to always be available to us

your sister in Islam

p.s i found this photo with the caption " popular among the sisters" so i thought i should share it with my sisters here at, Muslimahcrew
